This coming April, many exciting films are lined up for avid moviegoers to watch, including "Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2" and "Fast and Furious 8." Without further ado, check out the list below to see the four upcoming movies to be released in April and don't forget to watch the trailers at the end of the article.

Four Upcoming Movies To Watch Out For In April:


1. "The Fate Of The Furious" (April 15 in the Philippines)

For fans of "The Fast and the Furious" franchise, "The Fate of the Furious" is another film to look forward to. Also known as "Fast and Furious 8," this time, it tells the story of a mysterious woman that seduces Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) who influences him to betray his loved ones. Meanwhile, the rest of the crew will face tests that will determine their fate.

Aside from Diesel, "The Fate of the Furious" also stars Charlize Theron as Cipher, Dwayne Johnson as Hobbs, Michelle Rodriguez as Letty "Ortiz" Toretto, Nathalie Emmanuel as Ramsey, Jason Statham as Deckard Shaw, Elsa Pataky as Elena, Ludacris as Tej Parker and Tyrese Gibson as Roman Pearce. It also features Kurt Russell as Mr. Nobody and Lucas Black as Sean Boswell.

The film will be released in Philippine theaters on April 15. It will be shown earlier in the UK and Australia on April 12 and on April 14 in the US and Canada.

2. "Can't Help Falling In Love" (April 15)

 Directed by Mae Cruz-Alviar, "Can't Help Falling in Love" stars Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, aka "KathNiel." According to Cebu Daily News, a lot of the scenes in the movie were shot in Cebu, including the Cabana Beach Club Resort in Moalboal and Mantayupan falls in Barili. "KathNiel" also visited Dalaguete and Argao.

Aside from Padilla and Bernardo, the film also features Janus del Prado and Kristel Fulgar as part of the supporting cast. "Can't Help Falling in Love" will be shown in theaters on April 15.

3. "The Boss Baby" (April 15)

"The Boss Baby" is a computer-animated comedy film from DreamWorks Animation and 20th Century Fox. It is based on a picture book that was written and illustrated by Marla Frazee.  It tells the story of "The Boss Baby" Templeton (Alec Baldwin), an extremely smart and unique baby that wears a suit and carries a briefcase with him. It also features his brother Tim (Miles Bakshi) and they will team up to fight a top secret war between puppies and babies.

"The Boss Baby" also stars Eric Bell Jr as the Triplets, Steve Buscemi as Francis E. Francis (voice), Lisa Kudrow as Mother (voice) and Jimmy Kimmel as Father (voice). Tobey Maguire as Older Tim / Narrator (voice) and ViviAnn Yee as Staci (voice) join the rest of the cast members of the film. It will be shown in Philippine theaters on April 15. It will also be released in the UK on April 7. 

4. "Guardians Of The Galaxy Volume 2" (April 26)

The sequel to the "Guardians of the Galaxy" film will be out in April and it will also feature the Awesome Mixtape #2. This time, the team will try to uncover the mystery behind Peter Quill / Star-Lord's (Chris Pratt) parents while facing obstacles during their exciting adventure in space.

Aside from Pratt, "Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2" will also feature Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Vin Diesel as Baby Groot (voice), Kurt Russell as Ego, Chris Sullivan as Taserface, Nathan Fillion as Simon Williams, Dave Bautista as Drax and Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket. It will be out in Philippine cinemas on April 26. It will also be released in Australia on April 25 and in the UK on April 28.
