The full-length trailer for the upcoming Disney-Pixar film titled “Finding Dory” has been officially released on Wednesday, March 2. Comedienne and TV host Ellen DeGeneres, who lends her voice to the animated film’s lead character Dory, has unveiled the new trailer of her latest project on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

Cinema Blend reports that “Finding Dory,” which is the sequel of the 2003 film “Finding Nemo,” will take place six months after Dory and Marlin (Albert Brooks) embarked on a journey to find Marlin’s missing son, Nemo (voiced by Alexander Gould in “Finding Nemo”). In the upcoming film, Dory, who suffers from short-term memory loss, will go on a new journey to find her parents after her childhood memories came flooding back.

On her latest adventure, Dory will not only reunite with old friends like Marlin and Nemo but also meet new characters at the Monterey Marine Life Institute. In “Finding Dory,” E! News reports that Brooks will still be voice of the clownfish character Marlin but Hayden Rolence will now be the voice of Marlin’s son, Nemo.

Diane Keaton and Eugene Levy joins the “Finding Dory” cast as Dory’s parents, Jenny and Charlie. “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” actress Kaitlin Olson lends her voice for new “Finding Dory” character named Destiny, a whale shark from Dory’s past.

Destiny is going to be one of the characters who will help Dory out with her quest to reunite with her family. Director Andrew Stanton revealed that he always wanted to work with Olson since he saw the 40-year-old actress and heard her voice.

“There’s a term, ‘the camera loves them.’ There’s also people where the microphone loves them, and the animator in you comes out, and you say, ‘I’d love to animate to that voice.’ She has one of those voices,” Stanton explained.

In addition to Olson, the “Finding Dory” cast also include Ty Burrell as a beluga whale named Bailey, Ed O’Neill as an ill-tempered octopus named Hank, Willem Dafoe as Gill, Vicki Lewis as Deb, “Thor” actor Idris Elba, “Testament of Youth” actor Dominic West and “Twilight” actor Michael Sheen. “Finding Dory” is scheduled to hit movie theaters on June 17, 2016.
